Not getting out alive…

Good morning, mi gente! How are you doing on this fine Wednesday morning? Me, I am good.

First, let me say RIP to Queen Elizabeth II.

To Prince Charles III, I recommend “Miler” pens. They won’t let him down, no sir. I also want to wish him the best of luck, because QEII is a hard act to follow for anyone.

Congrats to Sheryl Lee Ralph on her Emmy win! Big up youself, fellow Yardie!!!!

Dancehall artiste Ding Dong was in the Cayman Islands a couple of weeks ago for a concert. There happened to be a cooler fete the same night and one of the young men at work was commenting on how all the posts on social media from the Cayman party massive seemed to come from people at the cooler fete. He said that he saw many videos of people at the cooler fete getting down to Ding Dong’s hit, “Bounce”, doing all the dance moves and getting on bad, but there were none of anyone doing the same thing at the concert. I hope the promoters turned a profit. He also told me that Bounti Killa will be performing here this Friday! If any of my bredrins are going, maybe I’ll tag along.

So Youtube served up this video this morning…Ozzy Osbourne performing a couple of songs at the season opening game of the Rams. Are they still the L.A. Rams? I don’t really follow NFL much anymore. Anyway, Ozzy performed his new song, Patient No. 9 (It’s a Banger!🤘) and an oldie but greatie, “Crazy Train”. People, this man is the hardest working man in Rock N Roll, surely? Still rocking at 73! Still with new music coming out! The man is a living legend!

Youtube then served up another video which seems to be about Ecstacy. At first, I was thinking that this song was surely the work of the devil and I was against it, because it seems to be glorifying the use of Ecstasy and perhaps will serve as an encouragement of others to try the drug, but then, I said to myself, maybe its just a generational thing. Maybe Ecstacy is the drug of choice of the ‘now’ generation, much as many in my generation (and of course, other generations) chose to use marijuana. Look at all the songs glorifying the use of Mary Jane! I don’t even think twice about them, so why am I paying any negative attention to this song glorifying the use of Ecstasy? It also occurred to me that maybe both  the songs promoting the ganja AND the songs about Ecstasy are the work of the devil, but what do I know? These are lofty ideas, better contemplated over alcoholic beverages with friends at night, nuh true? Let me just run the track.

This song by Post Malone and Doja has me bouncing in the car on the way to work in the mornings. Post Malone says he likes Doja, he does, and she sings back that she likes him, and the only thing I don’t like about the video is Post’s outfit. It looks stupid nuh ra$$! Anyway, at least the song  is 🔥🔥🔥

Check out Tems covering “No Woman No Cry” for the movie “Black Panther – Wakanda Forever”. This video features some stunning visuals from the movie as well. Tems is newly coming to my attention. As another young(er) man at work was saying to me, it would be amazing if we could get a collaboration between her and Koffee. Universe, make this happen, please!

Thats it! I’m out. Gots to get ready for work. Latah!

Life is like a crazy train ride….

G’morning y’all!

Heard that Russia warned the USA to stay away from the Black Sea for its own good.

Now I hear Russia is planning live fire drills in the Black Sea as US warships approach…

This song is suitable to the times…

So is this song… Let me warn you, this one is a screamer song! You know, when she not screaming like this, Alissa White has a sweet voice, enuh… but at least her screaming is some of the most palatable screaming I have ever heard, i.e. it does not get on my nerves… and the music sounds great!
