667

Wow! Just noticed that I had posted 666 times… and me nuh like that number, so you know I had to type out a post real quick! Country music this morning.

A drinking song… Its to be expected. Its also appropriate, because Friday is creeping up on us. For me, it would be a rum & ginger, fortified by a touch of Red Bull. Got to get them wings, baby! Some man love their beer though.
Jameson Rodgers, Luke Combs: Cold Beer Calling My Name

I clicked on this one because of the name of the song. It was not a bad decision…
Ingrid Andress & Sam Hunt: Wishful Drinking

Kane Brown: One Mississippi.

I am a sucker for Gabby Barrett. Check out ‘Pick Me Up’.

This one is catchy.
Walker Hayes: Fancy like

Miranda Lambert: If I Was A Cowboy

This one is good. In these times, errbody gots to supplement their salaries, so why not?
Michael Ray: Holy Water

Savannah Dexter & Brabo Gator

I’ve always loved this one… Not that I’m saying anything against MY mother-in-law… I love my Mother-in-law! But the song is good!
Luke Combs: When It Rains It Pours

Morning musings

Check out what the scientists have to say about the cycles Mother Earth goes through here. Earth has a “pulse”! Basically, every 27.5 million years or so, a bunch of cataclysmic events occur, with heightened volcanic activity, mass extinctions and so on and so on.Interestingly, they say we have 20 million years or so to go before the next such event. I would have thought we were on the cusp of such an event now though, what with the polar ice caps melting, rising sea levels, volcanic, earthquake and hurricane activity. Many animals are approaching extinction as well, and many have already gone extinct in the recent past! I guess that is just a result of our activity and its repercussions on the planet though.
So, Earth has a cycle… Indeed, everything in life seems to be cyclical in nature, even relationships. That is what Kane Brown is singing about in the video below.

I like Maren’s songs usually. This one is no exception…

Jimmie Allen sounds pretty good too…. strange that he didn’t go anywhere after being on America’s got Talent and American Idol in the past. Hey, when stuff doesn’t go right for you, just keep on fighting. Stuff will happen for you if you keep on putting in the work.

Gabby Barrett’s second big hit… Seems American Idol found us another country music star.

And here is a really big one from back in 2017… Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha.
