Good morning!!!
So I was on Facebook and came across some click bait entitled, “Rare Photos in History You Probably Never Knew About”. I took the bait. Interesting photos. Here is one I came across, under the heading, “Times Square’s Kiss”.
The storyline behind this is allegedly that this photo was taken on V-J Day, otherwise known as the “Victory over Japan Day” which marked by the beginning of the end of World War II.
When the announcement was made that the US had won, this sailor grabbed a woman who was a total stranger to him and kissed her in the middle of Times Square in New York City on August 14th, 1945.

Times have sure changed, huh? Nowadays, he would probably be arrested for assault, or even sexual assault for that! At least, thats the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw the picture. That is, if the woman was vexed about it.
I think this acoustic cover of “Staying Alive” was pretty cool!
Daria did a good job with this cover, in my opinion.
P.O.D. – Alive…. I wonder what P.O.D. means? Hmmm.
First To Eleven cover’s a song from an album by a friend of their’s, “Dirty Girl”.
Here is a hot new one from Avril Lavigne! (Feat. YungBlud).
