This stuff is slightly mixed up.

John seems to be taking a walk on the Caribbean side. I notice he featured recently on one of Buju Banton’s songs and he did a song recently which Koffee featured on. Now I see he has covered ‘Redemption Song’. It sounds great!

I quite like Stefanie Stuber. She was in ‘The Voice Germany 2019’, she made it to the sing-offs where unfortunately she was eliminated. She sings rock a lot, though I have heard her cover pop songs as well, and she is a good singer. Unfortunately she is heavily into rock where the singers are continually screaming, and she herself employs the screaming in a number of her songs, even on her audition for ‘The Voice’. When I say unfortunately, that is unfortunately for me, because she may make a ton of money doing it, who knows? I don’t mind a bit of screaming. For me, it is a skill that should be used carefully, applied more in sprinkles rather than applying it liberally, or for me, the dish (the song) will become unpalatable. It seems that plenty of rock fans love it though. Here is an original by her where she never screams, not even once. She sounds great! She does have others like this as well and I really like them…

Here is another song by her, where she does a tiny bit of screaming. This still sounds great. It is a cover of ‘Decode’, originally by Paramore. Lets call it ‘Decode’ on steroids.😄

Here she is again, featured on a rock cover of a pop song, Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now”. The cover is by “UMC”, featuring Steffi. Here the screaming is minimal as well. Good stuff.

Back to a bit of reggae / dancehall music now. Yeah, I know this post may seem a bit schizophrenic. I must be off my medz. Ha ha…🤪
Check out Matisyahu singing a mashup of ‘One Day’ and Bob Marley’s ‘No Woman Nuh Cry’.

Somebody named ‘Cho’, featuring Stefflon Don.

Finally, some slack dancehall music. People, it won’t be long before dancehall videos descend into porn, it seems. As proof of this, I offer firstly Shenseea’s song, ‘Foreplay’, and now, this ‘Quarantine Music’ song from Jada Kingdom. Jada can sing, enuh! I dunno why she won’t stop following in Shenseea’s steps with the slackness. I don’t think she needs it to succeed, but she looks like say she love it, so…
